LibriVox: Free audio books online

We just wanted to let you know about a great resource of which you may not have heard: LibriVox, a website where volunteers read public domain books and create free audiobooks anyone can download.

They also provide links to information about the texts and Project Gutenberg free online ebooks (which you can even download for your Kindle), all under the Creative Commons license.

Kate O'Connor works as Publicity & Outreach Director for Post5 Theatre, Literary Assistant and Office Manager for the Original Practice Shakespeare Festival, and Dramaturgy Intern for the Profile Theatre. She earned her M.St. in English Literature 1550-1700 at Lincoln College, University of Oxford and a BA in English from Stanford University.
